Send us a photo — it’s the fastest way to start

If you can safely take a photo of the material from a distance, send it through. We can often tell straight away whether it’s likely to be asbestos and roughly what the job involves, which means a more useful first conversation and a faster quote.

One important thing: don’t disturb the material to get a better photo. Don’t break a piece off, don’t scrape it, don’t move it. Intact asbestos is generally low-risk — it’s disturbance that releases fibres. A photo from a metre away is plenty.

What happens after you contact us

1. We talk it through. You tell us what you’ve found and what you’re planning. We’ll give you an honest read on whether it’s likely asbestos and whether the job needs a licensed removalist.

2. On-site assessment. We come out, look at the material properly, measure the area, and arrange a NATA-accredited lab test if it needs confirming.

3. Fixed quote. You get a written, fixed price covering removal, disposal and clearance if you want it — not a range that moves on the day.

4. Your call. No pressure. If it turns out you don’t need us — the job’s under the DIY limit, or the material isn’t asbestos — we’ll tell you that instead.

Not sure if it’s urgent?

If the material is intact and undisturbed, there’s usually no emergency — leave it alone and contact us when it suits. If it’s broken, crumbling, fire-damaged or has been cut into, keep people away from the area and get in touch sooner, because damaged asbestos is when the risk becomes real.
